• Question: What is the difference between a test tube and a boiling tube??

      They are very similar, but a boiling tube is designed for boiling things in, so it’s wider so that you can boil things in them more safely than you can in a test tube.

      Boiling tube is a wide mouthed tube made up of glass material (boro-silicate) which can sustain high heat, temperature , flame and test -tube cud be made up of glass, plastic as well.At times test-tube just serves as vessel to hold some sample as well.
