Question: Can cats and dogs understand what you say, as my cat sits on me when I call her name. Or is it the pitch of your voice that effects what they think. (Do you like animals;if so which one?)

  I like cats and dogs both! but i have 4 cats!

I believe ha cats and dogs can recognise their names and other commons words such as “sit” and “get down” but most of it isn’t understood and it is purely the tone of voice
