Artificial intelligence is an active research field, and I’m not up to date with the latest developments. It seems to me that autonomous robots are still a long way off though. Robots can be programmed to perform simple tasks on their own though, and to learn new things.

I don’t think we need to worry about robots taking over the world within our lifetimes!

Nice profile pic (of beetle)!!! Well they r actually machines. They can interpret data or a situation as whatever has been feeded in their hardware or software! If l to tkethat situation doesnt exists they will b in error on nonresponsive. So In my view they cant take over! Well to take over new generation has to b prepared as well otherwise aftr sometime robots will become non -functional as afterall they r machines. They can’t reproduce to make a baby robot!!!
So practically its a fictional thing nothing real!!!

There is a lot of research into Artificial Intelligence (AI) but many people doubt whether we will ever be able to match the complexities of the human brain. We don’t really understand how the brain works although we are making slow and steady progress on this. Some people say the brain is the most complex thing in the universe.
