• Question: does biology affect any of your work ?

      biology in what sense? ofcourse my research involves insects so their biology is obviously involved as I am developing plant based pesticide against insects dear!

      Not directly, I mainly work with engineering materials. However, some of my work can be used in medical applications such as artificial hip joints etc. and as such I sometimes work with biologists or medical people.

      Some of my hydrogels may undergo some biological testing with cells in the future, but most of my work at the moment is making gels and testing their chemical properties.
