• Question: how would your research help the world?

      Due to increased world population we need more food to grow. For increasing the agriculture we need more land but land is limited. Land usage for agriculture is not going to increase with increasing population. So If we happen to save this crop loss which is huge (amounting to about 25-30 % worldwide), from various kinds of pests, than we will be saving a lot.I am researching to find out new pesticides from plants which are less toxic than chemical pesticides. Therefore my contribution will be important in saving a bit of crop.
