• Question: if you are a scientist for a job what would it be like and do you need to know maths a lot?

      No not really! but u need to know basics mathematics atleast to do some basic calculations. Otherwise u won’t be able to interpret data. It is like kind of situation that u cook food and can’t find out that it tastes gud or bad? So u need to know basics mathematics though higher stats is required at times!

      It depends on what kind of field you go into. Some scientists use complex maths on a daily basis, whereas others use maths infrequently.

      There is a wide range of jobs in science, and again the work varies across fields. People who work as scientists in universities will usually spend most of their time doing research – experiments, reading and reports mostly – until they become a lecturer, when there will be more time spent teaching and organising their department. Rachael will be able to tell you about working as a scientist for a company, as she has done this for years.
