• Question: if your method of producing hydrogels is successful how would it change the world?

      It’s actually quite early days for my current research so a lot depends on the progress that we make over the next 6 months. Hopefully our method will be sufficiently general that we will be able to make hydrogels that are tailored to the needs of specific applications. I particularly hope that the gels we’re making will be suitable for wound dressings, as the infection of wounds is very costly for the NHS.
