Question: in your own opinion do you think the world is developing in a bad way or a advanced and great way??????:)

Well, I’m afraid that my view is a pretty pessimistic one and I think that climate change and the exploitation of the planets resources will go unchecked for too ling and life will become very difficult for the number of human beings that the planet will hold in the next 50 years. Many developed rich nations will be able to guard their populations against the worst of the changes but they will still see many economic crisis and possibly even wars, for oil, coal, water and other resources.
However, we are also becoming increasingly able to manipulate the environment around us and this may offset some of the worse effects. Unfortunately there is not much science can do if the politicians and the general population do not heed the warnings and change their ways in the coming years.
