• Question: is it true that scientist only wear white lab coats ,is to compare thing against there whiteness of the coat!!!!:P

      Most scientists wear white lab coats, but other colours are used sometimes as well. In universities, people demonstrating experiments to undergraduates often wear a different colour lab coat so that they are easy to find quickly, particularly if there is an emergency.

      White coats do show up anything you have spilt on yourself nicely though. I only have white lab coats.
