• Question: What do you hope to achieve from this project?

      My current job is a temporary contract, so it only lasts until November 2010. This is very common for people at this stage of their career.

      The best thing I can achieve from this project is sufficiently successful results that we can convince either a company or a research council to invest further in the work, so that my contract can be extended and I can continue to be paid a salary. That way I will be able to pay my rent and bills and buy food so I can eat.

      Otherwise I will have to find another job elsewhere…

      I’ve really enjoyed the interaction with the students, with their great Q’s and enquiring minds and I hope that I have helped some of you want to do science later in life or just to understand how science works a bit better. If I have done that then I’d be happy.
