• Question: What kind of chemicals do you deal with in your line of work?

      Mostly common solvents like acetone, ethanol, hexane, food grade surfactants, plant material etc.!!!

      It varies as the project progresses. I handle lots and lots of polymers though, and many salts and a few solvents. Sometimes I use acids and bases. Occasionally I need to use slightly more exotic things like monomers and initiators, but it’s rare that I handle anything really dangerous.
