      Great thing to ask. Sounds like you want to study Paleontology and/or Geology. A good start would be to study the right subjects at a level, probably chemistry, biology and physics.

      It sounds like you’d enjoy a degree in archaeology, geology or geography. Many universities in the country will offer something that would be suitable. Oxford and Cambridge usually top the league tables for these kinds of subjects so I would set your sights high and go for one of those.
