• Question: What was it that got you into science, was it a school experience- like loving a certain experiment?

      It wasn’t a specific experiment that got me into science, I liked the fact that we did different experiments each week. What I liked about science, and still like about science, is that you get to do practical work. Some subjects at school, and some jobs, just involve doing similar tasks all the time and mostly it is sitting down. I like doing practical work.

      I really like the chemistry experiments, although later I became more interested in physics. We used to do stuff like make sodium catch fire on water and make hydrogen explode in a test tube.
