• Question: why can't we time travel

      That’s very difficult to answer. I guess the answer is kind of ‘because we haven’t found a way to do it’.

      Some people might say that you can theoretically travel in time by travelling very fast, near the speed of light, because your perception of time is different from somebody who stands still while you are doing this. But this doesn’t seem like time travel to me as it relies on our perception of time. It’s also very difficult to travel anywehere near fast enough so that the effect is noticeable.

      Time is actually a very complicated concept, but very interesting.

      Well nothing this sort of has been invented so far! Probably in future it can b possible. This thing exists in fiction rgt now, but even mobile phones, internet was also in fiction some years back and today v r enjoying this technology! So perhaps in future v cn though i am not sure!

      I really don’t know enough about relativity and quantum physics to answer that properly.

      However, an interesting point is made by Prof Stephen Hawking: if, in the future technology was more advanced and time travel was possible, why don’t we see time travel tourists from the future all the time?
