• Question: why is it alright for some animals to become extinct while others it is not

      I would have said it’s never alright for animals to become extinct.

      Well nothing should extinct as a result of human activity! but if something is getting extinct as a result of nature thn tht means that animal is not able to adapt to changing conditions. The Rule of evolution says survival of fittest!!! and if something is not fitt in environment thn it is going to b extinct!

      Extinctions happen all the time and always have done. Sometimes ,many millions of years ago, huge amounts of life on earth has gone extinct, like the dinosaurs. However, there have been even bigger mass extinctions that that.
      The question we need to ask is; are any of the extinctions that are happening now directly caused by human activity and is there anything we should do about it?
